Purpose and Eligibility: This competition and exhibition offer an outstanding opportunity for high school students to showcase their artworks. This year’s jurors have been selected from art faculty at regional colleges and universities. Open to All North Texas High School Students.

Please join us for our Induction Ceremony and Exhibition Thursday February 11 from 6-7 p.m in the Hudson Foundation Gallery.

Excellence in Arts Scholarship

To all students awaiting their letter for Excellence In Arts Scholarship - I will be returning to school tomorrow and hope to have them all completed. Please do not panic - I will physically take all the applications to the Communities Foundation Center on Friday....which is just the postmark deadline. All applications will receive the same consideration no matter when they arrive as long as they are postmarked by 5:00 Friday.

MCAD Deadline

Hi Charlotte,

I hope your year has been going well and thanks again for having me present to your art students this past fall! I just wanted to send out a quick reminder to your students that our application deadline for enrollment and scholarships is coming up soon! Students must have all admissions materials into our office by Feb 15th. This is not a postmark date! Please inform your art students about this deadline.
Also. I would be happy to work with students on waiving their $50 application fee if they want to apply to MCAD for Fall 2010. Please have them contact me about this so that I can make note on their file.
Thanks and I hope to visit your school again next year!
