Dallas Art Dealers Association Annual Gallery Walk

The Dallas Art Dealer's Association annual gallery walk weekend is April 14. Students from the Visual Arts Department will have work on view at the Norwood Flynn Gallery.

The Association is looking for volunteer docents for this event. Please see the Visual Arts callboard between rooms 170 and 172.

APStrategies Excellence in Arts

The Visual Arts department is pleased to announce that Camille Brewer and Katie Wolf have been selected as recipients of this years AP Strategies Excellence in the Arts Scholarships. Each year four 20,000 scholarships are awarded to AP Arts students.

Congratulations to Camille and Katie.

Young Arts

Congratulations to visual arts student Max Brito for having been selected as a finalist in the NFAA YoungArts competition. Max will travel to Miami to participate in YoungArts week. Performances can be viewed live on the YoungArts.org website.

Congratulations to Maisie O'Brien for receiving a Merit Award from YoungArts.
